Hey all, thanks for checking out my page. I currently work in the animation field, but also trying to get better at comic book style art and oil painting. I hope having this page will motivate me to draw more so that I can continue to post new stuff and improve as an artist.
For those who are watching my page, thanks for the encouragement.

Interests
No, not $20,000, I wish, but 20,000 page views! Thanks everyone who watches me and comments on my work for helping me reach this point. Your constant support helps keep me motivated to continue to grow as an artist. Being an artist is kind of a solitary journey, but it is nice to know that you guys are out there caring what I do. So, thanks everyone I appreciate the support very much...  Wait a minute, if you all give me $1 ,I would have $20,000!! Ha ha, just kidding...or am I ?!!

Hi Shu-maat, thank you so much for your compliments, I really appreciate it :) Tell me, what part of Italy are you from? I was there back in 2000 and loved it so much. It was so inspiring to be around all that art and history. What is it like to be an Archaeologist, it must be the coolest thing especially in Italy. I looked through your gallery and think your drawings are pretty good for someone who isnt studying art, you should keep at it. Sorry for all the questions, I just really love Italy, all my Grandparents are from there, and I feel a connection because of that. My dream is to be an artist there some day, I'm even learning the language.

Anyway, thanks again for your comments about my work, it means a lot, ciao :)

Ciao Steven! Thanks to you for your kind reply!

Oh, I didn't have a clue you had some bonds to my country! I'm so happy you had a great time here in Italy, and I hope you can come back again, too -and it would be wonderful if your career could bring you here! I live in Florence, have you been there? You're right, I feel so lucky and so compelled to do my best while passing every day in front of the Dome and the other marvels of the city; being an archaeologist here, paradoxical as it may sound, it's quite hard, because Italy doesn't put a lot of money in culture, and we're chronically unemployed... nonsensical, but sadly true.
Where have you been in Italy, which cities did you visit, and were did your grandparents come from, if I may ask?

Thank you for having dropped an eye in my gallery, it's very humble and I know I have no talent, but I appreciate your support nevertheless -coming from such a great artist, it has a huge value to me! I really meant my compliments for your gallery, you're so creative and talented, it was a real pleasure browsing through it. Best wishes again, and if you need any help with Italian language, feel free to ask!

Ciao Shu, Thanks for the reply to all my questions :)

I did spend about three days in Florence, thats really great that you get to live there! I will never forget walking through the Uffizi gallery and seeing the Botticelli in person. Seeing pictures of the art there is not the same as seeing it in person, it was very overwhelming, and made me feel small. I also loved to hang out by the outside gallery where the copy of the David is now, I couldnt believe those masterpieces are right there outside for everyone to see all the time. I even took a tour of Michelangelo's home and saw the sculptures he did as a boy. You live in a beautiful city, and I'm glad you appreciate it. I also visited Rome and Venice, which were also quite beautiful. I am a huge history lover, so Rome was very cool.

Sorry to hear about how hard it is to be an Archaeologist in Italy. I know your country, like other European countries, have struggled financially for the last few years, which is probably why they dont put any money into culture. I hope it changes for you because that has got to be a really cool job.

So, my moms side of the family comes from Valguarnera, Sicily, which is in the central part of the island. One of my Grandmotherson my fathers side came from Arquata Del Tronto, and others came from Vacri and Gildone in southern Italy. When I visited Italy back in 2000, I went to my Grandmothers village in Sicily, It was quite moving to see where she grew up and lived with her family.

As far as your art is concerned, artists are made, not born. If you keep working on your drawing, you will improve. You are already doing pretty well, so keep it up :)

Thanks again for answering all my questions, and buona fortuna on your job, I hope it works out for you. :)
